It took a lot of hard work and planning as well as financial obligations that needed to be fullfilled as Dare To Be Extraordinary is not a non profit agency nor is it a charity foundation. Dare To Be Extraordinary is a company funded by myself. In addition to the hard work, planning and financial obligations, I had to ensure that I had the right team within my circle.
As in child birth, a mother has to have the appropriate team of doctors, nurses, mid wives, etc. to assist her in the birthing process; so is the same for when we give birth to our dreams, we must have the appropriate team of doctors, nurses, mid wives, etc., so to speak, to assist us in giving birth to oir dreams and visions. We all need a team, even the Lord had a team around Him, twelve disciples.
For my event, I was fortunate to have an Extraordinary team to assist me in conveying my message to the community. Just like in the body of Christ, we each have different talents and strengths, that when used together, can accomplish great things.
Is it possible to achieve and attain your goals without the assistance of others, sure it is but when you have a team who share in your vision and a team whose focus is success, thats when you will be the most effective. "Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help (Ecclesiastes 4: 9, 10 NLT)."
Having a team is essential for your vision and/or goals; however, you have to be careful who you allow in your circle (I will be doing a blog on that within the upcoming weeks). As for me, I was so fortunate to have a wonderful team to assist me whenever I needed help. They are effective and bring different talents that are beneficial in assisting me when and if needed. My team that I have placed around me is the same type of team I recommend for those giving birth to their dreams, goals and/or visions, A Triple Braided Cord that is Not Easily Broken.
